Only 10 Calabrian startups could get a stand to participate in SMAU Milan 2022, our name appears among these.
From 11 to 12 October, at FieraMilanoCity, TOD System will proudly represent regional excellence in terms of technological innovation.
A selection that for us comes following the candidacy for the "expression of interest" requested by the Calabria Region, with the aim of being present at the international event, as we were saying, with only 10 innovative startups/spin offs.
Opened by SMAU, together with Fincalabra and the Department of Economic Development and Cultural Attractors of the Calabria Region, the expression of interest has set among its objectives those of developing commercial relations, industrial and financial partnerships, open innovation projects and co-innovation activities, to encourage interregional and international cross-fertilization processes.
Furthermore, for startups, there have been stringent the participation criteria to the call which, however, we have satisfied with TOD System.
Between these:
- innovative content of the product or service presented;
- b2b product or service or, if b2c, with interest in industrial and/or financial partnerships;
- product or service already industrialized and ready for the market, with interest in international development;
- technological development lines consistent with the areas of the Smart Specialization Strategy of the Calabria Region
- availability of references (customers or PoCs already completed) or, alternatively, having an already consolidated company in the shareholder structure or having been the subject of an investment.
The applications, obviously, were subjected to careful examination conducted directly by him SMAU team, which TOD System has welcomed. Precisely for these reasons, we were therefore indicated as winners of the space up for grabs in the Milanese event.
Our innovative SME will therefore be able to exhibit within the major SMAU trade fair event, which has supported companies and their professionals in satisfying their innovation needs for over 50 years.

Regarding the specific contribution that we will bring to the stand in the Milanese exhibition space with our innovative SME, made in Calabria, Virtuoso then explained that, at the centre, there will be Artificial Intelligence applied to robotics and, specifically, to viewer by todrobot (presented at Tecna 2022) created by TOD System.
